This photo has to do with friction and acceleration. Anna is trying to push Sydney and Meg in the sled, however her force is not great enough to move them across the floor. The friction that the sled is providing is also prevents Anna from pushing the sled. The forces in this picture are balanced. If Anna wants to successfully push the sled, she will need a force that is greater the force of friction. This photo also has to do with gravity. If there was not gravity, the sled and the people inside it would be floating and there would be no need to push it! If Anna was able to move the sled and wanted to find out the net force she would have to use the first equation below to find the acceleration, and then the second equation to find her net force. Anna would have to know the initial velocity, mass, time, and distance that she was able to push the sled, in order to find the net force.
