Refraction Lesson 1
Refraction- the bending of a light path
Boundary- ho far the wave will bend and move
Optical density- how dense the medium the light ray is traveling through is
Index of refraction (n)- values that are expressed relative to the speed of light in a vacuum
Normal line (repeat)- perpendicular line drawn to the boundary point of incident
Incident ray (repeat)- the direction of the rays coming from the light
Refracted ray- change in the direction of the incident ray
Angle of incidence- angle between incident and normal
Angle of refraction- angle between reflected and normal
