Image. An example of this is trying to go through a picket fence. When going through a picket fence in the same direction as the stakes everything will go though. This is opposite to trying to go through a picket fence in the opposite direction of the stakes where only some of what is going through will pass through. This is what polarized lenses do. It only allows light in the same direction of the lens filter to pass though and enter the eye, creating a core clear image.
